Worcester WooSox will "PLAY BALL" despite ongoing MLB lockout

The WooSox released a statement Wednesday saying, "Despite the impact of the work stoppage on Major League Baseball’s season, the WooSox and all of Minor League Baseball have a full season ahead, unaffected by the ongoing situation.”

The lockout has little effect on Minor League Baseball, save those players on an MLB team's 40-man roster are unable to play in minor league games until the disagreement is settled.

The club will face Lehigh Valley on April 12 in their first game at Polar Park. Tickets for the games in April and May are already on sale.
