Two Worcester men, both 19, have been arrested for possessing an illegal firearm.




WORCESTER – A ShotSpotter activation prompted police to come to Breck Street at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 31.


Officers arrived on the scene to find a Nissan Rouge parked in the middle of the road.


Two officers approached the car and discovered its two passengers to be quite frightened, according to the Worcester Police Department.


When more cops arrived on the site, they discovered expended shot casings.


The Nissan's driver, Roy Diaz of Worcester, and passenger, Michael Bell of Worcester, both 19 years old, were both taken out of the car. An officer entered the passenger door after Diaz was taken from the vehicle and spotted a magazine below Bell's right thigh.







The following charges have been filed against Diaz and Bell:






  • Storing a Firearm Improperly

  • Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License is a serious offense.

  • Carrying a Firearm without a License is a serious offense.

  • Ammunition possession without an FID card.
