One person is killed and another is critically injured in a shooting outside a Worcester nightclub.

WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS (WBZ NewsRadio) — WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS (WBZ NewsRadio) Shots were fired at Hurricane Betty's on Southbridge Street, Worcester, an hour after midnight on Saturday, according to an officer performing an off-duty job there.

The situation became "chaotic" when more cops arrived and discovered two gunshot victims, according to the Worcester Police Department. According to police, they provided medical assistance and sent the victims to the hospital by ambulance. One of the casualties, a 27-year-old man, was declared dead at the hospital, according to officials. The other victim, a 32-year-old male, has life-threatening injuries and is being treated at the hospital, according to WPD.
