WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS –

At a press conference on Friday, the City of Worcester announced that the Worcester County St. Patrick's Parade will go place this year.

Worcester's parade is set to return on Sunday, March 13 after a two-year hiatus owing to COVID-19 concerns.

In 2022, the parade will mark its 40th anniversary.

This year's theme is giving back to the first responders and civic officials that aided the area during the peak of the COVID-19 outbreak two years ago.

City Manager Ed Augustus and Medical Director Dr. Michael Hirsh were elected co-Grand Marshals by the Worcester County St. Patrick's Parade Committee.
