During Saturday's nor'easter, around 400 automobiles were hauled in Worcester.
MASSACHUSETTS – As residents continue to dig out following this weekend's snow, Worcester's roadways and sidewalks are in good shape, according to City Manager Ed Augustus.
About 400 cars had to be towed this weekend so that plows could properly remove snow from the streets.
They cleaned a number of pathways, according to Augustus, so that kids could get to school. Residents in Worcester must clean sidewalks after the snow has ceased for 10 hours or risk a fine.
According to Augustus, the city spends roughly $6 million on snow removal each year. He said that the city's budget is still sound and that it should be able to manage anything the rest of the season throws at it.
