On Tuesday night Worcester Police arrested two men for Trespass, Possession of a Firearm without a License, and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.
The two men have been identified as Armando Cruz, 25, of GBV Ave and Ezequiel Rivera, 26, of Oxford St.
Worcester Police say that Tuesday night officers were dispatched to the area of Jennings and Grafton St. for a report of loud music.
As officers began to arrive in the area they observed cars that were gathering in the area starting to leave but WPD says, “After several minutes, an officer’s attention was drawn to an Acura sedan parked directly between two “No Trespassing” sign for a closed business.”
When Officers approached the vehicle WPD says, the driver Armando Cruz, did not have a driver’s license, the vehicle was uninsured and had a revoked registration, and they observed a knife in the center console.
WPD said, “Officers checked the grabbing area of the vehicle and located a machete and loaded handgun behind the front passenger’s seat.”
Neither Cruz nor Rivera have a license to carry firearms so they were both placed under arrest
