Man Arrested On Beacon Street For Drug Trafficking And A Warrant

On Monday morning, Worcester Police with the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Massachusetts State Police arrested Luis Torres, 43, of Worcester.
Worcester in a statement says that Torres was wanted on a warrant for numerous firearms charges and violent crimes.
Worcester Police with the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Massachusetts State Police went to a Beacon St address to arrest Torres and while there they recovered a large amount of what appeared to be cocaine, a large amount of what appeared to be heroin, a handgun and ammunition.
In addition to being arrested for the warrant, Torres has also been charged with Trafficking in Heroin, Trafficking in Cocaine, Unlawful Carrying of a Firearm, Possession of Ammunition without an FID, and Improper Storage of a Firearm.
