Apartment Fire At Colony Retirement Homes

On Saturday afternoon, Worcester fire responded to a reported structure fire at the Colony Retirement Homes on Chadwick Street.

Upon arrival there was a working fire but Deputy Fire Chief Martin Dyer told Worcester Daily News on Monday that the fire was “held to the apartment of origin.”

Deputy Fire Chief Dyer also said that 1 resident was displaced and 1 was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

The fire which caused $60,000 in damage, is still under Investigation.
