WPD VICE SQUAD EXECUTES SEARCH WARRANT ON WEST ST, LOCATES CRACK COCAINE AND AMMUNITION






On January 27th 2022 the Worcester Police Department Vice Squad was in possession of a search warrant for a West St address. Officers executed the warrant at about 6:20 PM. As officers approached the building, they observed an individual later identified as Trecia Thomas looking out of the apartment and throwing plastic sandwich bags out of the window. Officers recovered the bags and determined that they contained a substance that appeared to be crack cocaine.

Officers entered the residence and detained the target of the warrant, Kasheme Craig, twenty-three-years-old. Officers located 9mm ammunition and drug packaging materials. Mr. Craig does not have a license to carry firearms or an FID card. He was placed under arrest and is charged with Trafficking a Class B Substance 18-36 Grams and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card. In addition, resident Trecia Thomas, forty-five-years-old, was charged with Trafficking a Class B Substance 18-36 Grams and Interfering with a Police Investigation. They will be arraigned in court.
