A guy was seriously hurt in a stabbing in Worcester on Friday night, and one person was detained.
According to Worcester police, officers responding to a complaint of a probable stabbing in progress at the WRTA Bus Hub on Foster Street at 9:20 p.m. discovered signs of a stabbing and could hear a physical struggle taking on in the street.
According to police, they found a male with critical stab wounds at Grafton and Franklin streets.
He was sent to the hospital, where his current state is unknown.
D'Angelo Aponte, 21, of Worcester, was discovered by officers at the bus terminal, according to police.
According to authorities, an investigation found that Aponte was the aggressor during the confrontation.
On a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon — a knife — he was arrested.
Aponte is expected to appear in court at a later date.
